KVOST is pleased to announce the artist talk with Thomas Ranft, member of the group and the curator Stephan Koal as part of the exhibition CLARA MOSCH and early art actions in the GDR.
Thomas Ranft (*1945 in Königsee) studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig from 1967-1972 and was co-founder and the name giver of the producers’ gallery Clara Mosch in 1977. Ranft, who was also known internally as “Obermosch,” was instrumental in the gallery’s program and the planning of numerous plein airs and actions.
